Meet the Doctors
Meet Dr. Nedic:
Dr. Ivana Nedic was born and raised in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. In the early 1990's Dr. Nedic moved to United States with her family and by mid 1990's they made California their new home. Dr. Nedic has a Bachelors degree in Biopsychology from University of California Santa Barbara and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Scienes.
Dr. Nedic's interest in health care dates back to middle school, where she first developed an interest in behavioral psychology. As early as her 7th grade scientific experiment which involved observing teenage behavior and social implications, did her love for science manifest. Later, her 1995 art installation show cased at the San Diego Museum of Art potrayed social stigma and anorexia. This interest in human behavior and physiology continued through high school and college; but it was not until she was working in the toxicology lab of UC Santa Barbara that her curiosity for natural health care was born. "All I remember is that one day while carefully placing thin layers of the albino mice brain on glass slides, I asked myself....Is this the only way I can make a difference? Is this it? There must be something better... a more profound way to make a difference", Dr. Nedic recalls. The art and science of chiropractic was introduced to Dr. Nedic by her college roomate and the love for chiropractic was born. "It was the only thing that made sense...I had two choices to make...I would either be a sickness care provider helping people suffer less through better drugs or I would be a wellness care provider helping people achieve better health through better living, through education, through unleashing their innate body's ability to heal it self. The decision was easy to make".
Dr. Nedic was awarded on honor of being published in Who Is Who: Among American Colleges and Universities in 2004 and she is a recepient of E. Marian Drake Humanitarian Award by Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2004. She loves cooking, yoga, art and spending time with her husband and family.
Meet Dr. Sutter
Dr. Cameron Sutter was born and raised in Bordentown, New Jersey. He graduated Cum Laude from Union College in Schenectady, New York with a Bachelors degree in Hydrogeology and Magna Cum Laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Growing up active in sports and having chiropractic as a regular part of health and lifestyle, Dr. Sutter's love for chiropractic developed early on. Dr. Sutter feels blessed to be in a dynamic field where each and every day he makes a difference in people's lives by restoring the natural state of their bodies. "What can I tell you...I get up in the morning and smile as I think of my day ahead and all the people I have the privilege of serving...there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the people you serve look their best and live their best", Dr. Sutter notes. His love of sports manifests in his practice; as he is well known for his specialty in extremity adjusting. He served as a chiropractor to college basketball players, Olympic swimmers, pro surfers as well as 3-Day Breast Cancer walkers. Additionally, Dr. Sutter is a well respected lecturer on health topics such as stress management, nutrition and peak performance. He is often invited to hold corporate workshops to the San Diego businesses. "As doctors it is our moral and professional responsibility that we do more than just show up at our clinics; we must educate our communities, we must provide people with information about healthy living so that they can make informed choices about their health... Unfortunately we do not learn in schools how to eat well, how to keep our bodies well...it is no suprise why so many people are sick, in pain and why we are one of the unhealthiest nations in the world".
Dr. Sutter's interests outside of the office include surfing, mountain biking, running, and spending time with his wife and his family.
